The Nartkers | A Bird And Rose Home Movie

I have been telling Katie for awhile now that I wanted to figure out a way to incorporate more video into lifestyle shoots, specifically with family photo shoots. Katie always does such an amazing job at capturing the moment with photos and I was curious if I could do the same except with video. To everyone reading, I think, possibly, we are on the right track to making that happen. Recently we shot family photos with our cousins and while there I decided to put some of my ideas into practice. What came out the other side was what is the beginning of a Home Movie idea that I am going to keep working on.

Mainly, the idea is these videos would exist in a one or two minute format featuring your family having a great time together. This is all born from a place where I believe people aren’t making home movies as much anymore. Personally I have always been someone who likes to pull out the old VHS tapes whenever I’m home to take a trip down memory lane. More on this idea to come as we continue to see where it goes.
