Romantic Backyard Wedding | Sydney + Marcus Get Married!

Hello Friends!

It has been quite some time since our last blog and I feel like we are just getting our bearings for 2020 since we opened our business again in late May. It has felt overwhelming at some points, but we feel equally grateful that people are trusting us to continue to document their lives.

Last month, we got to photograph Sydney + Marcus’ backyard wedding. Originally their date was set for November of this year, but with life comes changes. They moved their wedding up and were offered a family friends’ beautiful home and backyard to celebrate their love. Everything about this day was absolutely stunning. A custom champagne bottle for them to drink while having some alone time before the wedding. Both of their wedding dates engraved on their glasses. To name a few more, their first looks were emotional as well as their personal vows, all of the little details in the decorations, and I am always a sucker for a tent reception. BUT My ultimate favorite was Sydney’s dress change! They were blanketed in love by their closest friends and family all day and I rode the wave of emotions right along with them through out the entire day. To be honest, I am still feeling it as I write this. When we left for the evening, everyone continued to celebrate and dance with one another.

Being a part of two people’s love story is so magical. We feel so honored to be able to continue to do it, even during a pandemic.
