Luke + Hans Island Wedding | Baldhead Island, NC

This wedding was a special one for us. Long story short, Shay used to work at Apple with Luke. They stayed in touch over the years via social media, but live thousands of miles away from each other. Katie works with Luke's sister at her full time job and over a beer one evening, we figured out that the small world got even more small. A few weeks later, Luke contacted us to photograph his wedding. Luke and Hans have an amazing story. They met when they were both studying abroad and from what I can tell, instantly fell in love with each other. Shortly after their across the globe travels, Luke asked Hans if he would move across the coast with him. So they packed up their car, drove to Los Angeles, and well, the rest is history. We got to photograph their wedding a few weeks ago on an island where Luke's family used to vacation. They fell in love with the island and I think we did too. We are ready to go back. Since Luke + Hans were so gracious to let us in on their special day, I decided to shoot a little video as well.
