Paige loves Shelby | Proposal in The Factory Courtyard | Northside. Cincinnati

I met Paige and Shelby one night while I was serving at my part time job. We got to chatting and I told them that I ran my own photography business. When they left, I gave them our info since they were new to town, hoping they would reach out if they wanted to make some new friends or just have someone show them around Cincy. About a month went by and I got an email from Paige telling me she wanted to propose to Shelby. I was so giddy! The original plan was to meet them up in Chicago, but when their concert was canceled, they decided to not go. We made a new plan. She wanted somewhere that would be private so they could just concentrate on each other and I thought to reach out to my friend Sarah who owns The Factory. The Factory is one of the newest event spaces in Cincinnati and it is where Shay and I got married and thought the courtyard would be absolutely perfect.

I watched the weather all week and the forecast said rain. Paige and I bounced around ideas and the day of, Paige just said F it and let’s do it in the rain! So we did. It was such a sweet, and thoughtful proposal and Shelby was totally surprised. Paige also surprised her with a trip to Chicago and cleared their schedule for the whole weekend.

Thanks Paige + Shelby for letting us be part of this magical moment. We can’t wait to see what is next!… and also to meet your doggos because, duh!
