Getting the opportunity to photograph love in any form has always driven the creative heart inside of me. It is really what fuels me to keep going. The connection, the little in between moments, the single moment where you can physically feel the two people together. It is such a magical moment.

Nadia reached out to me to photograph their anniversary a few months ago. I was actually part of the puzzle of surprising Neehar for the day, with many other little surprises in store. The first part of their anniversary, they spent renewing their vows to each other with their closest family and friends watching via Zoom. Their home was filled with glowing candles and even a cute little cake to cut at the end. It was such an honor to be part of an intimate setting.

After, that, I got to meet their furbaby, Cookie and we went out around downtown to take some photos. Cookie is literally the sweetest dog and I got lots of kises. At the end of my time with them, Nadia surprised Neehar with a Cameo from Jordan Pundik, who is the lead singer of his favorite band, New Found Glory. I about died! The emo kid in me was very happy.
